By road

Given the size of Windsor Great Park, it’s important to choose the correct car park for your visit. View the Windsor Great Park map & guide here.

Please be aware that access to Windsor Great Park roads is restricted to Windsor Great Park residents and authorised staff only. Visitors are not permitted to drive through the Park. If your Sat Nav directs you through one of our gates, please turn around and continue your journey using an alternative route outside the Estate.

Coaches

The only car park that can accommodate coaches is The Savill Garden car park and spaces, which are limited, must be booked in advance. Please visit our Groups page.

By rail

The nearest stations are:

Egham on the South Western line from London Waterloo
Windsor and Eton Riverside from London Waterloo
Windsor Central from London Paddington via Slough

By bus

The Thames Valley Bus Service live timetable runs through Windsor Great Park, Monday to Saturday. View the full timetable.

By bicycle

National Cycle Route 4 (London to Fishguard) passes directly through Windsor Great Park and is the only permitted cycle path in the Great Park. Other cycling paths are available and do change to ensure that all of our visitors have an enjoyable and safe visit. Check our cycling guidelines before you visit. Bicycle hire is available from Windsor town centre. Contact Windsor Tourist Information for details.
