Barbecue from the Garden Terrace

On weekends from Saturday 7 June, enjoy a takeaway barbecue from The Savill Garden Visitor Centre Terrace featuring locally-sourced ingredients including Windsor Great Park venison sausages and burgers.

The Savill Garden Visitor Centre

The Savill Building, now known as The Savill Garden & Adventure Play Visitor Centre, was opened by The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on 26 June 2006.

Constructed using oak from the Windsor Estate, it it is the main entrance to The Savill Garden and Adventure Play.

Within the Visitor Centre you will find a variety of dining options including, seasonal menus at The Savill Garden Kitchen, light bites and cakes at the Gallery Café and for visitors to Adventure Play, a place for you to relax and enjoy a snack with a cup of barista made tea or coffee.

The Savill Garden Kitchen 

The Savill Garden Kitchen offers a seasonal menu of hot and cold lunches, with a selection of cakes and light refreshments.

Pre-book your table

It is recommended that your table is pre-booked, especially for weekends and school holiday periods.

Tables for indoor seating at The Savill Garden Kitchen can be booked using the link below.

Adventure Play Café 

Adventure Play Café is exclusively for visitors to Adventure Play serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and kid’s packed lunch boxes.

Father’s Day lunch

For Father’s Day this year, head to Windsor Great Park for time in the outdoors and a two or three course lunch.

Work up your appetite with a walk from The Savill Garden and then follow up with lunch in The Savill Garden Kitchen.

All lunch choices must be from the Father’s Day menu and all orders will be taken on arrival.

  • Payment across all Savill Garden Visitor Centre catering outlets is by debit or credit card only
  • An entry ticket is not required for the Visitor Centre, but parking charges apply unless you have tickets to visit The Savill Garden or Adventure Play
  • Dogs, except for assistance dogs and emotional assistance dogs, are not permitted in the Visitor Centre. For visitors with dogs who would like to eat at The Savill Garden Kitchen and Gallery Café, tables are available on the Garden Terrace. View the accessible information for the Visitor Centre
  • Food or drinks are not permitted in The Savill Garden and Adventure Play
  • Seating inside The Savill Garden Kitchen is reserved for pre-booked guests dining on the main Savill Garden Kitchen menu only
