In line with Government advice, the Great Park currently remains open for you to take essential exercise, if you live locally. (You shouldn’t travel outside of your village, town or area of the city you live in).
A progressive independent commercial business, created by Act of Parliament. Our portfolio includes the whole of Regent Street and much of St James’s in London’s West End, prime regional shopping centres, Windsor Great Park, rural land and coastline, and the UK’s seabed.
We have been proud to support this important initiative over the years, by cultivating several National Collections across Windsor Great Park.
Founded at the end of the 1970s, the National Collections Scheme was designed to conserve, grow, propagate, document and increase the availability of garden plants in the UK. This came about after several prominent horticulturists noted that many species were disappearing from British gardens.
We are constantly reviewing and improving our collections, and so may well grow our involvement with the scheme in the coming years - with more plants that have this designated status in the future.
