Group visits

Adventure Play

Groups are welcome at Adventure Play, a unique, hand-crafted adventure playground, hidden within the woodland next to The Savill Garden.

Come together and discover a fascinating world of walkways, slides, sculptures, and treehouses.

But this is not just for the children.

Whether they want to climb among the trees or explore the amazing giant acorns, you can be right there, feeding their imagination and watching their confidence grow.

All are welcome, whatever their age, need or ability.

Adventure Play groups frequently asked questions

The maximum number of tickets that you can book online to visit Adventure Play is nine. Groups of ten or more will need to book in advance with our Group Bookings Coordinator.

Are there any discounts for group visits?

There are no discounts for group visits to Adventure Play. Prices for your visit can be found here.

Can I visit Adventure Play before I book a group visit?

We do not offer familiarisation visits for Adventure Play. If you have any questions, please complete our enquiry form.

Is there a private area or room which I can use or hire during my visit?

There is no private area or room to hire at Adventure Play. As there is limited seating space, we would also ask groups not to pull tables together and reserve seats which are for all to enjoy.

Can I book a celebration party at Adventure Play?

We do not offer celebration party packages at Adventure Play.

As an alternative, why not have a meal at The Savill Garden Kitchen. There is a seasonal menu of hot and cold food with something available for everyone.

If our visit is a celebration, can we bring our own balloons, cakes, and party items to Adventure Play?

Adventure Play is an amazing place for any child to have a celebration treat, however, because of the limited space that we have for seating, and the turnaround time that we have between sessions, we ask that you do not bring any celebration items such as a cake/s, balloons, and other party items.

Are there any storage facilities?

There are no storage facilities at Adventure Play. As we cannot take responsibility for any personal items, we suggest you leave them in your car, or an adult member of your group stays with them during your play session.

How does a group enter Adventure Play?

Group visitors to Adventure Play must enter together.

The Group Organiser should arrange to meet their group outside the main entrance to The Savill Garden & Adventure Play Visitor Centre.

Please find a place that will not block the main entrance.

When you are ready, make your way to the Adventure Play entrance. Our team will be expecting you and will have wristbands ready.

Can the adult of any child in my booking enter Adventure Play to drop off or collect them?

No, everyone entering Adventure Play must have a valid ticket and no child, without exception, can exit Adventure Play without the adult they entered with.

How does an adult who is not attending Adventure Play collect their child after the session has ended?

To ease the process of entry and exit to Adventure Play, all adults and children on the booking must enter and exit together.

Children should be dropped off and collected outside of the main entrance to The Savill Garden & Adventure Play Visitor Centre.

We will not allow a child, without exception, to exit Adventure Play without the adult they entered with.

Is there free parking for any adult whose child is entering Adventure Play?

At peak times, Adventure Play can become very busy with children excited to get in and play.

It would be a much better experience for all if a child can be dropped off and left with the Group Leader. You have fifteen minutes to drop off your child before car park charges apply.

If this time is too short for you, or you would prefer to stay and enjoy other areas of Windsor Great Park, we will validate your car park ticket so that you can exit without paying.

The Group Leader should collect car park tickets so that we can do this at check-in. This will also help to reduce the number of adults waiting at the entrance desk.

What catering is available at Adventure Play?

Our Adventure Play Café is always open, we have a wide range of snack items available including a children’s lunch box.

We also have The Savill Garden Kitchen close by, should you wish to have lunch afterwards.  The menu is available to view here.

Can we take a picnic in to Adventure Play?
