Free seasonal walks at Windsor Great Park
From 01 December
Wrap up and embark on a family expedition in Windsor Great Park to keep active this season. Follow one of our free seasonal walks* from The Savill Building – Have you visited the serene setting at Cow Pond or taken a stroll to the banks of Virginia Water lake through The Valley Gardens? Take up the challenge this winter to find a new favourite walk and discover more of the Great Park.**

Big and little ones alike can take a spin on our popular vintage carousel. The carousel will be at The Savill Garden from 14 – 23 December and 26 December – 05 January inclusive. The small dobbies are £2 per ride and gallopers are £2.50 per ride.
The Carousels will be closed on 24 and 25 December.
Winter in The Savill Garden*
Enjoy the variety of beautiful and fragrant plants that thrive in the winter months. Discover the flaming dogwoods and willows in the Winter Garden as well as the golden grasses from New Zealand. The Queen Elizabeth Temperate House is the perfect place to stop mid-way to enjoy the sight of festive plants from across the world, alongside our National Collection of Mahonia.

Festive Dining and Shopping at The Savill Building
Enjoy a warming dish from the Savill Garden Kitchen and shop from artisan suppliers from around the UK. Come along to our late night Christmas shopping evenings at The Savill Building, until 7pm on 12 and 19 December. The Savill Building will also be open later until 5.30pm from 20 – 23 December and 26 December – 01 January.

Carriage rides around the Great Park
Treat your family and loved ones! Snuggle up under cosy lap rugs on a relaxing journey through the winter landscape of Windsor Great Park.
The horse and carriage is beautifully decorated with twinkling gold & white berries for the Festive Season and the magnificent part-Shire horses will of course be wearing antlers! There are Christmas Toys on board for the little ones, and you may even hear some Festive music!
