Much of the Windsor Estate is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Special Protection Area (SPA) for the Conservation of Wild Birds. As custodians of the land and wildlife, we are committed to Net Zero, and are at the forefront of rural conservation and sustainability initiatives.
We are proud, jointly with Sandringham Estate, to have been awarded the Royal Agricultural Society of England’s (RASE) Bledisloe Gold Medal, recognising an outstanding achievement in the successful development and land management of an agricultural estate in England.
