A progressive independent commercial business, created by Act of Parliament. Our portfolio includes the whole of Regent Street and much of St James’s in London’s West End, prime regional shopping centres, Windsor Great Park, rural land and coastline, and the UK’s seabed.
Let your little ones play on our swings, shipwreck and climbing frames, or in the toddler sandpit, as you keep a watchful eye from the seats within this enclosed play area.
Keeping the little ones entertained
Our children’s play area offers a good selection of low level play equipment which is perfect for children of pre-school age. It is located close to the picnic tables on Obelisk Lawn, with views overlooking the nearby Obelisk Pond - where there are plenty of ducks and swans which your children will enjoy feeding.
Drinks, snacks and coffees are available from the kiosk on Obelisk Lawn, or the play area is also just short walk from the restaurant, baby changing facilities and toilets at The Savill Building.
The Savill Building has easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs from The Savill Garden car park, and is often a hub for exciting child-friendly events and trails during school holidays. See our Events page for more information on all the latest children’s activities taking place at Windsor Great Park
A family day out
The Savill Garden itself is nearby and offers beautiful gardens with buggy-friendly paths - if you’d like to consider combining a trip to the Obelisk Lawn play area with an afternoon in The Savill Garden for a fun family day out. It’s free for children under 6 to visit The Savill Garden, and we also have excellent offers for families and children under 16. Visit our pages on The Savill Garden and Opening Times & Charges for more information.
