A progressive independent commercial business, created by Act of Parliament. Our portfolio includes the whole of Regent Street and much of St James’s in London’s West End, prime regional shopping centres, Windsor Great Park, rural land and coastline, and the UK’s seabed.
Many of thelakes and ponds of Windsor Great Park are a haven for fishermen, with tranquil views across the lake’s blue waters - home to the likes of carp, pike, tench and bream.
If you would like to fish at Windsor Great Park, you will need to purchase an annual fishing permit. This year we are introducing a new Windsor Great Park carp fishing syndicate. Fishing swims will be located at Obelisk Pond and areas of Virginia Water and night fishing will be permitted to permit holders for the first time! Here is a map of the available fishing swims.
Watch Simon Crow, editor of Carp Talk, taking the opportunity to sample the carp fishing available at Virginia Water lake. Watch his video review here.
Please be aware that completion of the application form does not guarantee membership of the syndicate, this will only be confirmed once references are received and payment is taken. Depending on how quickly referees respond, this process could take up to two weeks.
It is not possible to purchase a single day permit for fishing.
If you have any questions relating to the fishing regulations within the Park, or would like to apply for a permit, we are always happy to help. Please contact the Main Reception at The Crown Estate Office in Windsor Great Park on 01753 860222 during standard office hours. All our fishing guidelines and restrictions are included within our Permit Pack, and we ask that you please follow these during your time fishing in the Park.
