The Wildlife Trust (BBOWT)
Windsor Great Park Environmental Centre is a partnership project between The Crown Estate and the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).
Developed to enable young visitors to appreciate and enjoy the natural history and wildlife of the Great Park, the Centre is perfectly situated – its ‘outdoor classroom’ space includes extensive beech woodland and veteran oaks and open grassland with dipping pond and teaching spaces. The building provides a comfortable indoor teaching space which is fully-equipped with exciting resources.
Programmes include school group visits, Nature Tots (parent and toddler) sessions, Wildlife Clubs for children aged 8-17, family event days, Lifelong Learning for adults and a Forest School site available for hire.
Early booking is essential.
