Chapterhouse Theatre Company return to The Savill Garden with another fantastic open air adaptation of a literary classic.
Set in the fictional village of Highbury, young Emma Woodhouse – described in the novel’s first sentence as ‘handsome, clever, and rich’ – develops a penchant for matchmaking after she successfully pairs off two of her friends. But it soon transpires that amidst her plotting, Emma finds herself stuck in the middle of a tangled web.
