Butchery demonstration evening – lamb
Join the first in a series of events that showcase the expert talent of our Windsor Farm Shop Butchers and the best of high-quality local produce.
This March, spring into Easter and enhance your cookery and foodie knowledge with a special butchery demonstration celebrating the local spring lamb from Bagshot Park.
Lead Butcher Michael Gale will show you how to maximise every cut of lamb, ensuring you savour its succulent, full-bodied flavour that’s shaped by the natural pastures where these lambs are raised.
There’s more to lamb than the leg; Michael will expertly showcase his butchery skill by preparing a whole carcass, introducing both primary and secondary cuts along the way. Each cut will come with suggestions on how best to cook them to bring out their full flavour potential for occasion and everyday cooking.
What’s included:
- A free welcome drink on arrival
- A butchery demonstration: Do you know your rack from your loin? Learn about each cut of lamb, what each cut can be used for in cooking, and how best to make the most of their flavour
- Enjoy a selection of lamb canapes accompanied by a curated wine sampling. A bar (card only) will be open to purchase further drinks including bottles of the sample wines
Perfect for keen cooks, foodies and those with a passion for well-reared British meat, join this unique experience and pick up top tips from those that know our produce best.
