This is an independent day school for girls aged 2 to 18 and boys up to age 11 in Windsor, Berkshire – located in beautiful grounds at the edge of Windsor Great Park. Founded in 1948 as a Catholic school by sisters of the Order of St Brigid, Brigidine School welcomes all faiths and abilities.
The School combines the very best in academic standards, music, sport and the arts. Its mission is to provide each individual pupil with a first class education, combined with a strong moral compass - enabling them to become great human beings and, as they journey through life, contribute positively to society as a whole on their quest to reach their full potential.
Brigidine School is a happy, caring and inspirational environment in which children enjoy and develop a lifelong love of learning, and want to achieve their full potential. Its dedicated staff and framework of pastoral care ensures that students have an appropriately challenging curriculum which is matched to their ability. Every student is a member of a House, and the older students work with the younger ones in a variety of House competitions.
If the evidence of a good school is its examination results, then Brigidine School scored highly once again in 2015, with 100% of A Level grades A* - E , of which 75% were A*- C, which is well above the national average. All leavers went on to the full time education courses of their choice.
